A non-governmental organisation, Everlasting Fountain Welfare Initiative, is set to empower residents with business skills.
With the theme “Finding Purpose in Godliness: Looking inwards and bringing out the God-given potential and abilities,†the organisation, which held the programme at the New Covenant Church in Magboro community, Ogun State, on Saturday, noted it was targeting 100 beneficiaries with the initiative.
The beneficiaries, ranging from men, women, and youths, are expected to be supported with skills and resources in the areas of tech, hairdressing, trading, and soap making, among others.
The EFWI founder, Abiola Adeniyi, speaking at the event which had many residents in attendance, said successful experts in various fields were selected to train the beneficiaries.
“Everlasting Foundation is a non-profit organisation that runs with the inspiration from the Lord. We hope to empower and care for people in terms of welfare and healthcare.
“If you have not been doing any business or have a skill that brings food to your table before today, please relax, you are going to be learning a lot.
“For as many people that want to learn how to improve their business, learn a skill, and be independent, we are going to put you through in whichever area you are looking at.
